Ideas for ‘Me Time’

Yes life’s all fun and games, but some days you just want to be anti social and have some me time.  It’s not selfish, it’s healthy!

  • Mani/pedis
  • Get your makeup done either at a counter or professionally 
  • Go to the cinema – maybe there’s a film you really want to see but your partner doesn’t. Stock up on sweets and enjoy watching something without interruptions
  • Go shopping
  • Put your headphones in and just block everything out
  • Clean out your clothes
  • Buy yourself some flowers
  • Read through your favourite blogs
  • Go for coffee and get it to drink in for a change
  • Binge watch your favourite show. Netflix is there for a reason
  • Get a haircut/blow dry
  • Write some blog posts, completely uninterrupted 
  • Start a DIY project
  • Write a letter to your future self
  • Alternatively, write a letter to your past self
  • Go swimming or to the gym
  • Go for a walk
  • Have a long bath and a glass of wine
  • Read a book
